FVC Brown Bag Lunch Webinar Topic: Urban Agriculture & Innovative Production

Join Farmer Veteran Coalition for another of our monthly "Brown Bag Lunch" webinar series aimed at providing information about Farm Service Agency (FSA) programs. These webinars are meant to be short and sweet, and an encouragement for producers. This month we will go over FSA Urban Agriculture programs.

What is Urban Ag? Urban agriculture includes the cultivation, processing, and distribution of agricultural products in urban and suburban areas. Community gardens, rooftop farms, hydroponic, aeroponic and aquaponic facilities, and vertical production, are all examples of urban agriculture. Tribal communities and small towns may also be included.
