Participants will learn the basic principles of pruning fruit trees in this hands-on workshop. Weather permitting, John will also demonstrate how to graft onto existing trees using spring grafting techniques. These methods are ideal for urban gardeners who want to cultivate a greater variety of fruit and improve tree production while saving valuable space.

Additionally, John offers grafting classes starting in the spring. If you’re interested in participating, feel free to speak with him after the workshop.

Note: If you would like to do your own grafting during the class, please bring a sharp knife with you.
