About the event
The Langston University Sherman Lewis School of Agriculture and Applied Sciences (LU-SL/SAAS) announces its pioneering Food, Agriculture, and Natural Resources Conference. This joint symposium and workshops will focus on sustainable small farmers, including goat and sheep enterprises from production through consumption. The eagerly anticipated two-day event will be held Friday & Saturday, April 25-26, 2025, on the Langston University campus in Langston, Oklahoma. The conference theme is “Growing Together: Fostering Resilient Communities, Food & Agricultural Systems.” Participants will be provided an enriching venue for small & beginning farmers, ranchers, and small operations to enhance production systems and alternative business enterprises.
The two-day conference will feature four conference track themes with a dynamic lineup of workshops designed to enrich the knowledge and skills of farmers, including small and beginning farmers, ranchers, and agricultural enthusiasts.
